How We Staff a Dedicated Engineering Team in 5-7 Days

Developer working efficiently

"5-7 days" sounds like a marketing line until you see the actual schedule behind it. Here is what those days really look like, from your first call to your first stand-up.

The day-by-day breakdown

This is only possible because we maintain a bench of pre-vetted engineers across common stacks — React, Node.js, React Native, Laravel, and more — rather than starting to recruit cold once you sign. Here's the actual sequence:

  • Day 1 — Discovery call: we map your tech stack, project scope, and the team shape you actually need (not a generic headcount).
  • Day 2-3 — Shortlist: we pull matching engineers from our existing bench, or open targeted sourcing if the project needs a specific niche skill.
  • Day 4-5 — Technical interviews: your team interviews the shortlist directly. You approve who joins, not us.
  • Day 6 — Contracts, NDAs, and access provisioning, so day one is spent working, not setting up accounts.
  • Day 7 — Kickoff and first stand-up.

Doesn't speed hurt quality?

That's the right question to ask, and the honest answer is: it would, if the vetting happened during those 7 days. It doesn't. The screening, portfolio review, and technical bar are applied continuously to everyone on our bench, long before your project exists. What happens in that week is matching and your team's own approval — not a rushed hiring process.

If your timeline is tighter than 5-7 days, tell us on the discovery call. We'd rather be upfront about what's realistic than promise something we can't back up.
